This was the first time I had ordered from Brook Taverner and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the jacket (which was bought as part of the 'Esher Suit')and trousers
I have only tried it on for size as it's been bought to wear for a wedding in Texas in March -- hence needing a lightweight suit
The fact that it is machine washable is also a massive plus
I have a feeling that this won't be my last purchase from Brook Taverner ..

I am going to a reunion in the UAE in the spring of 2012i I wanted a lightweight suit that would travel welll and be smart enough to wear at a number of government receptions. I swithered for some time before buying the Esher suit. It did appear to be smart and eye catching and good value for money but still I dallied. Eventually I placed an order and was not disappointed with first appearances when I opened the box. Excellent fit, crease free and delightful to wear. Now I have to experiment with shirt colours to gain the best overall effect from this wise purchase.

My wife says it makes me look yopuinger and almost as handsome as in uniform in 1945. Now that is praise.Will certainly buy frolm BT agian. Although there was a minor problem with delay in dispatching I was advised of this and really there was a very minmor problem..

I saw the offer in the Radio Times although I wouldn't normally order from a magazine i was intrigued. I needed a suit for when i go on a cruise and had to be lightweight due to the weather. Selecting was easy and at first didn't realise a shirt was also in the price. Order process was simple delivery was quick. Suit very nice although it did look bluer in the website.
First time ordering from a magazine and probably the last but i would definately order from Brook Teverner again and also recommend to others.

I needed a lightweight suit for a wedding I am attending in Malta soon and I saw the offer in Radio Times. I'm not one to mail order from magazines but the no quibbles, money back guarantee, I proceeded. Firstly, it was great to be able to specify sizes so flexibly and the on-line ordering process was simplicity itself. A week or so later it arrived as scheduled.

Fantastic - fits perfectly, looks great, very well made and a great price. I was very pleased ... so much so that I bought another in a different colour the same day! Brooks Taverner will become my first port of call for clothes in future... my gentleman's outfitter of choice!

The trousers were advertised as haviong a hidden stretch waistband which they do not have. If there is any stretch at all it is one or two millimeters and not as understood having the elasticated waist band that all other trousers citing this feature have. However despite this it is a very nice suit and what I received actually fits my rather expansive waist line.

As commented by Peter Reilly, I, too, was disappointed that the jacket wasn't as blue as I'd hoped, and as was depicted on the web site. It's more grey/blue. I have decided to keep it.
It fits well and I was impressed with the packaging, both jacket and trousers arriving totally uncreased. I was also surprised and very pleased to received a suit-carrier to keep it in.

I ordered the suit by telephone and was upset to receive a message telling me that the trousers were out of stock since I intended to wear it at a function shortly after it was expected. I wrote explaining this and received a message from Mr. Scott by return apologising and telling me that he would borrow trousers from another order and send by next day delivery. The suit arrived at around 0930 so I could wear it.

Unfortunately, there is a small lump of the fabric on the front of the left thigh (a knot that stands proud of the weave, perhaps - I know nothing about textiles) that is exactly where one's hand falls upon one's thigh when one sits down. Consequently, one's fingers are irritated by it.

I expect it will turn into a hole before long.

To say I'm delighted is almost an understatement, the jackets hang on me just like bespoke garments and now it just wouldn't occur to me to look elsewhere. Wardrobe space now and future has become the problem when I look at the Brook Taverner website.

I ordered a suit (advertised in the Radio Times - I wouldn't have known about the firm otherwise) and although when I submotted my requirements on line I was told that the trousers were out of stock and would be in stock by June 3 and delivery would be within 7 days of that date the suit was in fact delivered complete on June 2nd.

I was impressed with the speed of delivery and the quality of the work. I shall delight in wearing it.
