Summer is well and truly here and what an extravaganza we have in store. Already we have the start of the cricket twenty 20 World Cup, Pieterson hitting sixes in his normal belligerent style. The Derby at Epsom last Saturday , Mick Kinane winning for the third time at the age of fifty, and then Federer adding the French title to become only the sixth person to win all four grand slam events.

Just  around the corner  is Wimbledon, will Murray do it this year and  The British Grand Prix only  a couple of weeks away, can  Button make it six in a row ....Then we have got the Open at Turnberry....Woods is sure to be back to his very best....

Last but by no means least The Ashes, what more needs to be said other than I have been trying to get tickets for the Headingley test, been in two ballots and still no tickets!!!!

And I haven't mentioned the British Lions in South Africa.....

If you are lucky enough to go to any of these events now is the time to dust off your lightweight jackets and trousers ready for the great British summer.......but oh dear....they haven't come out as pristine as they went in .....Why not treat yourself to a new jacket for the summer...we have plenty to choose from...lightweight classic stripes...Barlby , Baildon and Norton, or linen blends Esher , Haxby , Dishforth and Camden or go the full hog with 100% linen jackets in Harewood and Burnsall.
