Linen is made for summer, whether it's worn in this country or abroad ......
Sometimes when I'm in a men's retailer and I see a gentleman trying on a linen jacket, I hear that very common phrase ‘but it will crease‘. Yes, there is no getting away from it; linen is guaranteed to crease... but before you dismiss linen garments, think about the positive benefits.
Linen suits are without doubt one of the most comfortable and cool to wear, particularly on a warm day. Worn with a shirt, or more casually with a t-shirt or polo shirt, you won't look out of place.......and more importantly you will be a linen convert for life.
The Burnsall mix and match linen suit offers the added versatility of wearing it as a suit or separates.
If it's a special jacket you are looking for look no further. The Harewood washed linen striped jacket is the one for you...the jacket has already sold extremely well and feedback from wearers has been very positive. If you are still not sure about 100% linen garments, take a look at some of the jackets which have a linen blend in our summer 2009 collection, Dishforth, Haxby, Camden and Esher all fit the bill. The Haxby jacket is great to wear - light weight and easy to co-ordinate with trousers and shirts....and the creases drop out over night ....couldn't be better ! |
