I was a bit skeptical about ordering a suit from the internet. A local suit supplier was asking £370 for a merino wool suit so I ordered one from Brook Taverner at £104. Measured myself as per the website instructions and the suit turned up a few days later complete with free suit-bag. The suit that turned up was a perfect fit and far better quality than the one for £370. I really can't believe the low price. I would highly recommend looking no further than Brook Taverner

From1952 I always had my suits made to measure by Hector Powe - first class Taylors now no longer in existance. Brook Tavener's suits fit me as though made to measure. The value of the two suits purchased from your recent sale is very acceptable to this pensioner even if occasions on which to wear them are somewhat infrequent.

First time purchase from brook traverner and overall very satisfied. The quality of the material is very good and the delivery was well packaged (including a suit cover). Overall, a very good fit although I would have preferred a slimmer fit version of the jacket and also slightly in the trouser. I ordered the 40R and the shoulder and chest fit me perfectly at the top, but I had to have it taken in for it to be a bit more 'shaped' on the body. Well finished apart from having to re-stitch some buttons that came loose!
Overall a very good quality suit for the price. Would purchase again, especially if a more fitted version is available!

Great service, quick dilevery and and I can confirm the no quibble returns as I ordered the rousers which were too small and returned them and got the bigger size with in a couple of days. Unforunately, the trousers. which had been shortened, were very poorly finished; one hem had not been stitched, and the tape had not been removed and re-positioned. This meant that the suit was returned.
The first suit I bought was also excellent quality and fit, but here again, the quality of the alteration was not good; the stitches were puckering, and had to be rectified by a local tailor.

A well made well cut suit. The measurements quoted are accurate and the suit fits me well, even though I do tend to stand straighter than most having spent 25 years in the army. Two small things let it down though. Firstly the lining is a fraction too long on the front left only, so I have had to have that rectified by my local tailor. Secondly, because I stand so straight, I have had to have the back squared up into the collar to remove the couple of 'pencil racks' that form across the back between the shoulders below the collar.
All in all a very good buy at full price and an even better one at the discounted price I was given.
