I shopped around and found this jacket better than others in terms of quality and finish that were three times more expensive.
Clear that no corners were cut as the quality of the velvet cloth is apparent, especially when held up against other brands off

Jacket sizing is tight although it has now been explained that this is because it is a "tailored" fit and not a "classic" fit - my mistake although I do find the descriptions a little confusing. The original, and subsequently returned, velvet garment was
