The quality of the trousers was good--comparable to Marks and Spencer's--and the price competitive. However, the fit was unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, I had to return them. Although these trousers were classed a regular fit, they were far too tight around the knees and lower legs. When I compared the measurements with a similar pair bought from another retailer a few years' ago, I found there was a good 3 cm difference between the two. Whether the reason is to reduce fabric costs, or simply to avoid producing garments like grandfather's old cords worn for digging the allotment, I can't say. But the result is that I can only commend them for men with skinny legs.
